While Elgg is fun CMS to play around; but, it sometimes can be painful for new Elggers to perform some simple tasks.
The External Pages plugin comes handy when adding new company pages like Terms, About, etc. But, by default it is limited to three pages – About, Terms and Privacy. And, there is no button to add a new page. At least it doesn’t exist yet, at time I am writing this post.
So, I am going to tell you the process to add new External pages to Elgg.

My friend, Mr. Amit Mahajan, and I are on a new venture, creating a new social networking site. At present, our Server is being setup.
Recently, Amit came up with an idea to give a top level domain name (.com, .net or .info) to the person who comes up with the best design and pay for it for one year. You will have the full ownership of the domain name.
We will need a great site page for http://www.ppsz.com and the overall theme, frames, background, etc. The site should look very very clean and professional glossed over that is suitable for being liked by students, professionals, housewives, ngos [READ MORE ...]

Ok, this is my very first public template on Elgg platform.
This is a simple teplate for Elgg, designed for Elgg 1.6.1; but, can be made backward compatible by following the instructions here – http://ishouvik.tk/?p=150
The topbar has been re-positioned like a regular navigation-bar in this template, with some extended options like ‘Message board’, one-click profile edit, change/remove profile-image, etc.

A language teacher was explaining to her class that in French, nouns unlike their English counterparts, are grammatically designated as masculine or feminine.
“House” in French, is feminine -”la maison,” “Pencil” in French, is masculine “le crayon.”
One puzzled student asked, “What gender is computer?” The teacher did not know, and the word was not in her French dictionary.
So for fun she split the class into two groups appropriately enough, by gender and asked them to decide whether “computer” should be a masculine or a feminine noun.
